DAY 1
Our fist day in the winter ISP was alright. We learned how to build an igloo, a skill which we will use tomorrow when we go to the bottom of seven. The process seems simple enough, and I expect that my groups igloo will be a success. Once we new the proper technique for constructing our winter home, we went on a journey to find a place with the right type of snow. After a rather uneventful walk down the bike path to the gas station, we found a spot just behind the Shell Station. Though the spot seemed legit, we decided to check conditions by the river to see if they were any better. The only thing we found was waist deep powder. When we met up with the other groups we decided that their spot at the bottom of seven would be the most convenient, and that our epic quest was really all for nothing.
