Igloos

Building Igloos was a very interesting experience for me. It was in fact the first time I have actually attempted to do so. One thing that worked was sealing the blocks together with looser snow, which in a way cemented them together. Another part of the igloo that seemed to work better than the way the directions suggested was building the door as you built the walls, making entrance to the snow home easier. One of the things that didn't work was having only a few snow saws throughout the three groups. Work would have been much more efficient if there were at least three per group. A second thing that didn't work was starting with different size blocks, which made stacking harder and the end stability of our igloo questionable. All in all, I enjoyed the igloo building.
