Wenesday Morning
Today for the first week of the Snow ISP, on wenesday morning, we were allowed to wake up late and head up to the top of lift 9 at 10:00 in the morning. It was amazing, I woke up at about 7:00, an hour later than I normally wake up, and went out on Lift 4 for about an hour to get a few turns in. After that, I went down the Face of Telluride and rode up lift 9, and arrived at Giusseppe's. We met up with the ski patrol worker, and basically ski'd around until lunch. First we went down to the ski-patrol hut and checked out some of the stuff that was there. After that we ski'd down to the beacon garden and practiced beacon locating. After that we rode up to the top of Prospect Bowl and rode down Genevieve. After that, we went into the backcountry, and the ski-patrol guy showed us how to dig a pit for determining layers in the snow. After that I did a few free runs, got some lunch, and showed up here.
